Claire Paice graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2016 with a degree in Publishing Media and Communication and has spent the last year working as the lead graphic designer for three independently owned hospitality venues in Oxford.
Claire’s practice works within the realms of the book form—her interests surrounding people and in turn, the documentation of various stories and issues through photographic processes.
She is currently working on a narrative of the seaside town Margate, by looking at its history—from a once prosperous coastal destination, to its degeneration and subsequent redevelopment as a hub for creative activity.
Claire is also currently collaborating with Emma Williams and ex-Crisis Artist in Residence Ellen Love, on a project with those who are blind or partially sighted. The project explores the relationship between sight, sense and memory through the use of alternative photographic processes.
